Users of the Topeka Police Section narcotics unit and Shawnee County Drug Process Power executed a search warrant Wednesday at a Topeka enterprise that identifies alone as a “leisure hashish dispensary.”
The search took place on April 20, or 4/20, which is also recognized in the counterculture as a marijuana holiday break.
Cannabis is illegal in Kansas.
Authorities carried out the research in the 3100 block of S.W. 29th, Topeka law enforcement Lt. Ronnie Connell stated late Wednesday in a news launch.
Law enforcement weren’t revealing the specific tackle or indicating if any arrests had been designed.
“The investigation is ongoing as we proceed to glimpse into this issue,” Connell said.
In the meantime, the site for Guardian MMJ Leisure Hashish Dispensary, 3124 S.W. 29th, No. 10, indicated late Wednesday that it had been “quickly closed.”
