LEWISTON — Tracy Roy was sworn in June 2 as Lewiston finance director.
Roy most a short while ago served as finance director and treasurer for Augusta considering that Oct 2020. Before that she was Augusta’s deputy finance director, treasurer and tax collector from 2013-20 York’s finance director from 2011-13 Auburn’s finance director from 2009-11 South Portland ‘s controller from 2003-09 and an accountant for South Portland from 2001-03.
“Tracy has a wealth of municipal finance practical experience, including her current write-up at the metropolis of Augusta. She is a Lewiston native and returning household,” Lewiston City Administrator Heather Hunter mentioned.
“We are glad to have Tracy on board, and I’m excited for the city of Lewiston,” Mayor Carl L. Sheline said.
Roy has a Bachelor of Science degree in small business accounting from the College of Maine of Augusta, is a board member of the Maine Federal government Finance Officers Association, and has continued her professional coaching by way of the Kennebec Leadership Institute and the Federal government Finance Officers Affiliation.
“I am psyched to commence this new problem and to be functioning with the Lewiston workforce,” Roy mentioned.
